FLIGHT STUDENTS (NON-STEP)

If you are currently a student at a flight school, but not at one of our partner schools, you would be considered a non-STEP student.

Our STEP (Student to Endeavor Pilot) program is active at universities across the nation.

If you are conducting your flight training or building your flight time at a program that isn’t one of our STEP partners, we would encourage you to connect with us. Non-STEP students are still encouraged to apply for positions with Endeavor Air.

Can I still work at Endeavor even though I’m not in STEP?

Yes!

How do I get started?

Connect with us! You can connect with us on our website, follow us on social media, and interact with EDV team members if they are at an event near you!

When should I submit my application?

As you approach your ATP/R-ATP mins, submit your application for the Pilot – First Officer position. Ensure your logbooks are well maintained, updated, and tabbed highlighting major events

When do I interview with Endeavor?

After applying, the candidates that pass an application review and phone interview will be scheduled for a face-to-face interview. We will ask questions about Flight Training/work/educational history, behavioral-based questions, and then technical questions.

What does the onboarding process look like?

If a candidate is successful with an interview, you will complete a background check, new hire paperwork & drug testing. You will wrap up the remaining flight hours and attend ATP/CTP course (if needed).

What is the pathway to Delta?

After starting, you’ll complete your new hire training/IOE, and then after you upgrade and fly as a captain for 24 months, you’ll then be eligible to advance to Delta!
