TECHNICAL OPERATIONS

AIRCRAFT PARTS CLERK


Aircraft Parts Clerks ensure that repairs are completed safely and efficiently by making sure that technicians have access to the appropriate materials and tools.

Aircraft Parts Clerks oversee the movement of materials and parts in and out of the base, manage storage and inventory accountability, and ensure regulatory compliance with company procedures related to safety and departmental standards. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED

• Previous experience in inventory control, purchasing or warehouse logistics preferred

• Ability to be certified in the handling of hazardous materials

• Ability to qualify for Airport Operating Area badge

• Possess a valid state driver’s license, and if position requires use of company vehicle(s), must be insurable under company insurance coverage

• Ability to regularly lift/move objects up to 10 lbs, frequently lift/move objects up to 50 lbs, and occasionally with assistance lift/move objects weighing more than 100 lbs

• Capable of operating small tools (hammer, crowbar, screwdriver) & ground equipment (forklift, pickup truck, manual pallet jack) and tow trailer behind pickup truck

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
